I'm finally launching my health blog. This has been a long time coming. Dealing with severe health issues has been the crux of my existence for the past 7 years.

I've read every book, every blog, tried everything. I've put in my 10,000 hours of obsession. I had no choice.

I think I can attract a small but motivated audience. Basically, I'm targeting me at 19. People that are hungry for answers and will be willing to do whatever it takes to become healthy.

I have MD installed, two posts, the stream, and a basic about page.

In addition, I got approved for Ancestral Supplement's affiliate program. I've been using their organ supplements recently and they're truly incredible. It seems they don't typically accept people without an existing following but after correspondence with the CEO I'm now good to go.

I used MD to add social media share icons and an email opt-in. For some reason, when I click "join now" the email form doesn't submit though. (It works now that I've updated to the latest MD version).

I'll be posting updates here as I continue to work on this new website.

It's Dying to Thriving if you want to give it a look.

@Jake O'Callaghan Following your blog really adds perspective to the topics we've talked about and honestly dude to see how far your mind has grown throughout all of this has been hugely influential for me. Thank you for the update

Thank you Alex. I have so much I need to share. It really has been a journey, and I'm excited to have a platform to share the wisdom I've accrued as well as the many mistakes I've made. As you know, I'm currently in really rough shape, but I know I will get out and the blog will be all the better for it.

Well, things have gotten horrible beyond my nightmares. The infection still won't go away. Within days of going off antibiotics I'm peeing blood.

Not to mention, I started having intense pain and swelling and rushed to the hospital. Turns out my Crohns is ultra severe again and had to have emergency surgery. I don't know what's going to happen. It's hard to even care anymore. I don't have much hope.

I really appreciate the well-wishes.

I've decided to log my experience getting out of this hole. I'll be doing a little log every day on the blog. Going to try to turn these circumstances into something people can benefit from. I know I will get better. I'm going to give it my all.

Recently talked to a urologist who will treat me for chronic UTI. There's still a lot of questions, but for now I've been prescribed bladder catheters with antibiotics. Yeah, I don't like using or even talking about catheters, but they are truly a godsend. Right now my stomach is cramping so bad from the oral antibiotics and it makes me hunch over from pain. Getting off them will be incredible.

I have a 3-month plan for getting out of this hole (covered on the blog). Right now I am so weak and sick, I can barely function. I haven't been this bad in about 5 years. The plan is truly novel. The only approach for Crohn's is a medication that has horrendous side effects. I will be treating very severe diseases through diet and a health protocol I've devised from years of experience.

I'm going to monitor my progress. I hope that, if it succeeds, it will show people that this stuff can be treated without horrible medication that often hardly works. I am an ultra-severe case so if it works for me it can definitely work for more moderate cases. Now that I'm finally making headway with these infections, I'm hopeful I can get out of this and be better than ever.
