    Transformation Agency

Hey Alex, we've got one large project in the pipeline at the current moment. Maybe a few others for the remaining teammates, but not sure on the timeline yet. I love the solar system as well. Best part...it's to scale! And yeah, we work as a team. My friend Mike does the main copy and I'll take care of the dev, but overall the collaboration process is pretty fluid. We go back and forth on what we'd like from a marketing and design perspective in a general sense, but leave it for in-the-moment creative inspiration when we're making it. So much better than the whole "back-and-forth with every small detail over and over again" approach I'm excited as well. I just set up Gulp to compile SASS and run BrowserSync to a local MAMP environment for my next project. So much faster and fun!!

    Second Md Site (Waves!)

Glad you like it, Alex! I'm happy to report, again, that the structure of MD made everything easy. Seriously - the hooks, the template structure, the base layout, the admin panel, etc, makes the difference between making websites fun and making websites a hassle. So kudos to the amount of work and level of intention you've put into this, sir! Good looks on the CSS modifications. I'll give those a shot. Ah yes...that mix was the one I listened to on repeat while I made this site. Highly recommended. Here's the full link on Soundcloud. As for the Transformation Agency website, I think that's up next. It's going to be a way bigger project, but I'm really excited for it.

    Second Md Site (Waves!)

Hey all, My second site using the MD framework launched today! Click here to check it out. I made it for my friend Diana, who is an amazing woman who has an uncanny ability to help people. She traveled for a week, and I wanted to surprise her to the site when she got back. She's never had a website before, and my intention was to create a platform for her to help her spread her message to others. It felt so good to give this to her. She cried when she saw it for the first time, it was adorable Mainly with this site, I learned: Mobile responsive CSS More about JS animations Random HTML/CSS tweaks per usual The importance of colors and design elements (it took me a while to find the right color scheme) The elegance of simplicity A better understanding of the template system which made this project a breeze As you'll see, the header is derived from Alex's tutorial (thanks Alex!), and there are a few bugs in there - mainly around the footer (anyone know how to make the footer sticky without adding more content?) and some font stuff. If you see anything that you'd change or have suggestions on, I'm all ears. Cheers, Max PS. I made a timelapse of myself working on the project from (almost) beginning to finish, excluding 3rd-party integrations like Drip and Center. It's pretty cool to watch. Watch it here on Facebook.

    First Md Site (Success!)

Thank you Ray, appreciate it, and glad you like it. Glad you like the site design! It was a fun development process - got 6 more sites I want to make, so I feel like it was a good start. Do you have any recommendations for learning the template system besides your articles? I'd love to learn more. I've been digging around in the Wordpress Codex but perhaps you'd have some suggestions? And ah yes...good looks on the 3 boxes background. Looks way better without it! Thanks for the feedback. Cheers, Max

    First Md Site (Success!)

Hey all, I designed my first website using Marketer's Delight 4.5! Click here to view it. This was a fun project for me, as during the development of this project I learned: The modular templating system of Wordpress and MD (Thanks Alex!) How to create my own child theme with my own custom templates How to turn SVG files into a custom font-face to use as CSS icons How to modify JS animation code and algorithms Integrating Drip, Center, Leadboxes, and Analytics within custom forms and header codes A bunch of random CSS/HTML tricks to get things to work There were also a few elements that I adopted from MD's homepage and ideas from other front-end developers. Time from start to finish: 8 days. Overall, very happy with the first published version of the site and VERY happy with Marketer's Delight. I'd love to hear what you think! Cheers, Max PS. Thank you Alex for the work you have done - I absolutely LOVE how there are no plugins I needed to install and everything was centralized and organized beautifully within the code. It is definitely now my go-to template for my own projects and my clients
